Philips 32PFL7404 32in Smaller Screen LCD TV
January 8, 2010 | Display, Philips | 1 CommentA few weeks ago we reviewed and were very impressed by Philips 42PFL7404 “reality affordable 42in model that still provided at least a taste of the processing power heavy duty for which Philips is to become famous – or infamous, I suppose If you are an ER of these people still cling to the idea that many treatment inevitably leads to images that do not look natural.
So we thought it made sense with sales in January on us to see how well the 7404 Series ‘streamlined’ approach to the treatment works on a smaller screen much more affordable: the 32in, £ 560 32PFL7404. Efforts to transform Philips will still be quite visible at this size to justify an intensification of the 32PFL7404 from models ultra-cheap, and as 32AV635D Toshiba 32AV615D?
First impressions are promising. To design the 32PFL7404 is really quite exquisitely by the standards usually cheap and gay sub-£ 600 32in market. Her exceptionally thin bezel immediately sets a tone futuristic, which is then reinforced by the way the curves of a translucent outer shroud ‘progress in the black principal. The only disappointment for me is that Philips has had to strip all traces of its Ambilight 32PFL7404 the outside, which means that your viewing experience is not enhanced by any emission sympathetic light color on the sides of the TV . Boo. But if you’re one of those miserable wretches who are Gimmicky and Ambilight flash, then I suppose you’ll be only too happy to withdraw from the 32PFL7404.
Philips has not compromised as it may have connections with the 32PFL7404′s. There is still a very credible four HDMIs, for a start. Plus you get a multimedia sound from a USB able to pick up and play a surprising number of types of AV files, and a PC input. As part of its cost cutting measures to bring the prices can 32PFL7404, Philips was not able to provide the Ethernet port available on the stage of the mark-up 8404 and 9000 television series. There is no PC DLNA streaming, and no access to the Internet. But any damage, it is hardly a deal breaker to sort the 32PFL7404 in cash. [via trustedreviews]
