Philips Eco-Friendly LCD Widescreen Monitor
June 2, 2010 | Monitor, Philips | 2 CommentsPhilips is preparing to launch another green LCD monitor on the market namely 225B2. This new widescreen monitor of 22 inches is consistent with Energy Star 5.0, EPEAT Gold and RoHS, and consumes only 22.5W in normal operation.
In terms of performance, offering 225B2 native resolution of 1680 x 1050, 5ms response time, brightness of 250 cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 500,000:1 dynamic. It also comes with two speakers of 1.5W and a D-Sub, DVI and two USB 2.0 connectors. The Philips 225B2 will be on sale in June for about 237 euros (about $ 290). [via techfresh]
