Planon Printstik PS910 Portable Printer

Most of them are much smaller than their desktop cousins, are still bulky machinery, which requires a separate bag to carry them. Planon PS910 Printstik is quite capable of slipping into the laptop bag mean, however, and did not even need you to make a delivery of paper. The metal and plastic stick is quite unconventional in design. It’s about a third wider than a sheet of A4 paper (it actually uses a roll of paper, the width of a U.S. letter page) and under 50 mm in height. It weighs less than 400g, is very easy to move and it fits into the accessory pocket of a laptop bag and barely noticed.
On the brow of his body are two membrane switches for power and paper feed and three LED indicators for power, printing and battery life. A single dose mini USB on the far left of the body of the printer is the only physical link to the world, while the PS910 is also Bluetooth compatible and will work with several types of phone, once paired with them. These include RIM BlackBerry, Smartphone and PocketPC, but you’ll need to copy a driver through your host machine before you will be able to print on the Printstik.
The printer uses a thermal print head, across the width of the paper to print black pixels on the treated paper. A roll of this paper fits into a holder, which is part of the mechanism of Printstik and roller replacement can be purchased in packs of six as the only consumable. With the paper cartridge in place, you do not need to carry separate supplies and the printer can produce up to 20 pages Letter length from a single roll, so about 19 A4 pages long.
