Powermat range of wireless products support we first spied at CES 2009 are now available for purchase. The system comprises a cap charge mat and a receiver board in a case for your portable device that allows you to “drop and load” without having to fiddle with the strings and simultaneously charge multiple devices.

There are two types of carpets on offer – one for home and office plus a collapsible portable version for travel – both are priced at $ 99 U.S. If the receiver is available for Nintendo DS ($ 30 U.S.) and 3G, Apple iPhone and iPod Touch ($ 40 U.S.). There is also a receiving dock restoration for iPod Classic and iPod nano standard and (U.S. $ 40).
