PS3 Disc Glitches and Errors Games
April 14, 2009 | Component, Electronics, Games | Comments OffIf we love our PS3 system for testing and reviewing games (one of the first released and continue to work correctly), we also heard a growing number of Playstation 3 owners complaining about disk read problems. This seems to be on multiple sites across the web, in our own problems section, we had a few reports on different disk problems.
Back in February this year we had a user send information on their hard 40GB PS3 have read the questions. They said that their “PS3 stopped reading any disk, CD, DVD, games and Bluray. It was followed by other users reporting similar problems.
More recently we have heard reports of users having their Disc icon does not appear on the XMB of the PS3 a few users. They said that the discs of PS3 games does not show, but the Blu-ray movies has worked well. One user has formatted the hard drive of their PS3 and do it after finding that the game discs began to show again. It showed that it was a software problem and not hardware. [ via product-reviews ]
