Royal Philips Electronics NV have surprised many by reporting a second quarter profit, many analysts had predicted a loss averaged about 122.5 million euros, but in the end, reported a net income of 44 million ‘ euros.

Although Philips was much less than last years second quarter, I am sure they will be happy to see that they do not have a loss, which is good given the current economic climate, forecast Philips are also a better second half of the year, which should begin to reduce them on track.
