Samsung HT-BD1252 5.1-Channel Home Teater System

The tallboy front speakers come in two parts that slot into each other, with a gap running in the back to hide cables. The top section of the actual speaker, while the bottom is hollow, and everything rests on a circular base. Inside the cones are made from Organic Kelp, which Samsung claims to offer a more detailed than conventional speaker cone.

As we have gathered, we were taken aback by the poor to develop the quality of components. It is no surprise that kind of money, but nevertheless it does not suggest the extraordinary sound quality is on the cards. The speakers are light, plasticky and not completely rigid, while SpringClip tiny rear do not link the tightest or most reliable cable possible.

The HT-BD1252 is a variation on the HT-BD1250 Blu-ray system, we examined last year, we did quite liked, despite its slightly coarse sound quality. Considering that this system was equipped with a set of four speakers bookshelf compact style for the front and rear, the HT-BD1252 has a pair of Tallboys for the front speakers and shelf for the back, so we’re curious how this new pattern of impacts on the overall sound quality. The HT-BD1255 offers another variation on the theme, with four satellite speakers tallboy in the box.

Fortunately, the 1252 is just as attractive as his stable companions, especially the main unit, which plays blu-ray/dvd disks, processes sounds and supplies 1000W of audio amplification. Its design is Samsung in the soul, decorated in a deep glossy black finish, which is covered with dust and fingerprints faster than you can say Mr Sheen. The sides sloped inward at the corners and curves also provide what Samsung distinctive look, but it is the touch pad and light blue volume knob on top that will draw the most “oohs” and “aah” from visitors.
