Samsung HT-C6200 Blu-ray System Speakers
May 9, 2010 | MP3 Player, Samsung | Comments OffThe HT-C6200 is the latest in a long line of jaw droppingly elegant, feature-rich all-in-one systems from Samsung, and TrustedReviews has a chance to get their hands on this first. The integrated Blu-ray will probably appeal to people who want to watch hi-def movies without the headache that comes with buying separates, and because it is a 2.1 channel system, it allows also clutter to a minimum.

As with most systems Samsung, the talents of the HT-C6200 is not limited to playing discs. It also comes with Wi-Fi, access to a range of additional content through BD Live and Internet @ Samsung TV portal. By connecting a USB storage device, you can play a wide range of digital media formats too, and DLNA-powered All Share feature means you can even enjoy content stored on laptops and home PCs wirelessly view. This, plus 1080p upscaling DVDs and iPod support, makes the HT-C6200 entertainment center in the great book of anyone.
As combined unit receiver Blu-ray, which offers a claimed 1000W of amplification, you get two front speakers and a subwoofer in the area. The front speakers are small enough to rest on the edges of your TV stand and have a distinctive design. In a departure from Samsung usual curves, elegant lines, the speakers are square feet and based on strong with a tapered blade. Gloss black is that Samsung is blue of Everton, and once more it is used to stunning effect – each speaker is covered with lush varnish that is sure to send customers with green eyes.
They are also surprisingly well done for a system of speakers of a box. The cupboards are far from robust plastics hollow systems previous Samsung, although this is probably due to the HT-C6200 tag higher price. The only real evidence of cost reduction is the use of speaker terminals on the back clips of each speaker, but they are pretty standard in all-in-one.
Everyone is welcome regardless where the subwoofer can be quiet – the subwoofer is so compact that it can be hidden in the tightest of spaces (acoustic permitting). The glossy black finish, it is easy on the eye as well as the strange corrugated side panel (which also has the rear speakers) is an acquired taste. [via trustedreviews]
