Samsung Moment Android 2.1 Update Device Phone
May 15, 2010 | Cell Phones, Samsung | 1 CommentAfter a false start a few Android 2.1 update is now available at the moment Samsung on the Sprint network. The update brings the text up to date as Google [GOOG] Android OS providing a number of improvements to the device.
For the update, you must manually download online and copy it to your phone. Currently there are no OTA update to be returned and it is not clear whether OTA update will happen.
The disadvantage of this is that the update will not just “update” your device, it will actually wipe and do a complete new installation which means that anything stored on internal memory Samsung Moment will be erased completely. One thing to do is make sure you have a backup of all photos, music, applications and anything that can be saved. For SMS, you need to install a backup application if you want to keep them so you can store them in an XML file and import them back later. [via gadgetvenue]
