Samsung Multi-Display Package Monitor
May 17, 2010 | Display, Monitor, Samsung | 2 CommentsSamsung has unveiled a new set of multi-display monitor package. Each monitor measures 23 inches and bundles can be purchased in 3 or 6 monitor screens. A single monitor option is also available.
The multi-monitor setup is designed to work with ATI and AMD Eyefinity is designed for gamers and professional users who need a multi-monitor setup. “With Eyefinity ATI, AMD has taken the first step in achieving a truly immersive environment for multi-display and video game fans productivity”, said Matt Skynner, vice president and general manager, AMD Graphics Division. “By partnering with Samsung, we are able to combine our technology with Samsung displays cutting edge to create the ideal viewing experience for computer users. The slim bezel and picture quality of the MD is a perfect match for ATI Eyefinity technology “.
The new series of monitors, Samsung has an ultra-thin on the left and right sides measuring just 7.6mm. Samsung say that it is about one third the size of regular monitors. This allows the monitor to be placed side by side without being too big telescope in the path of the image.
When put together, the monitors have a resolution of 5760×2160 pixels which falls into the ultra-high definition. A contrast ratio of 3000:1 is also available on this configuration. [via gadgetvenue]
