Samsung Slips a Pico Electronics Projector

The company known for its hard drives and LCD screens this week announced the SP-H03, an autonomous individual, as Samsung has described, or pico projector hand, the company has ever done (as we describe it).

“With the design of portable, high quality projection and integrated multimedia playback functions, the SP-H03 is an expansion of Samsung’s expertise in LED technology and mobile productivity,” said Tom Grau senior director of marketing for Samsung Electronics Projector Division of Information Technology. “Features robust and intuitive H03 makes an easy, effective and affordable choice for everyone from travelers to tech-savvy broadcasters mobile professionals and educators.”
Pico projector from Samsung, which looks more like a miniature camera Polaroid anything else, has an LED light source rated at 30,000 hours. It can beam images for WVGA (854×480) anywhere from 9 inches to 80 inches and comes with 1 GB of internal memory which is expandable to 16 GB via a microSD card slot, or with the help a USB storage device. You will also find an integrated 1W speaker, support for multiple file formats (AVI, MP4, ASF, MOV, RM, FLV, WMV, JPEG, PNG, BMP, GIF, MP3, MP2, WAV, WMA, Flack , EPA, and RA), a headphone jack and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery rated at 2 hours of run time.
