Samsung SyncMaster PX2370 Slimmer LED-backlit Monitor
August 4, 2010 | Display, Monitor, Samsung | 2 CommentsSamsung has a long history of staying at the forefront of display design, either with the ultra-thin televisions such as brushed metal-C8000 series or “Touch of Color” monitors as ECOFIT SyncMaster P2370. In Indeed, the latter is a relevant comparison, we are currently checking the PX2370 SyncMaster similar size.
This 23In, sports monitor LED-backlit even slimmer chassis with multiple inputs and outputs, saving energy and better physical controls, while maintaining all-important full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution. As is almost always the case with the screens these days, the PX2370 is very easy to set up physically. Just click on the support base of the screen attached, tighten the thumb-screws and you’re ready to go. As you probably guessed, however, adjustment is unfortunately limited to the slope. Although this is almost the norm, especially among designer displays like this, participants fully adjustable V2410T as BenQ and the Samsung SyncMaster BX2240 showed that there are alternatives. Unfortunately the build quality is adequate rather than good, with too much shouting for my liking.
Contrary to its adjustment or construct subtly integrated PX2370, connectivity, back-face is quite impressive. For video, you get your choice of DVI or HDMI digital. That means no VGA, but Samsung has kindly provided a VGA to DVI cable for those who have a need and there is an ‘Auto’ button resynchronize an analog signal for this very scenario.
