Samsung X120 11.6in CULV Notebook
Samsung has made a sensational debut on the netbook market when it passed the NC10 always excellent. He arrived late to the market and learned from the mistakes of others, the production of a (then) met all the needs and desires of consumers. It seems to take a similar approach to the growing sector Culv – an idea Acer helped people with test scenario Acer Aspire 4810T – with the X-Series. This new range consists of 11.6, 14 – and 15.6-inch models, and we kick off with the baby of the range, 11.6in X120.

Our version of the X120 is equipped with a dual-core Intel Pentium SU4100. He turns to 1.30GHz, a 2 MB L2 cache and is supported by a large 3GB of system memory. A hard drive provides 250 GB storage and graphics come courtesy of HD Intel GMA chip integrated 4500M. Wireless-N Wi-Fi is included for fast wireless performance, is also Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR for the devices, even if networking is standard wired 10/100 LAN Gigabit variety rather than the fastest. Most people will use Wi-Fi, however, if this is not a major concern.
More important is the design, durability and portability of this machine here and 11.6in Samsung has done an excellent job. It begins with the cover smooth and elegant silver, which does not show grease and dirt as vehemently that the glossy black finish on most laptops Samsung. Edges slightly elevated on the main body of the machine to help cover the melt with it, a reality exacerbated by the increasing false-chromium that gives the X120 a class, refined appearance. Weighing only 1.36 kg: X120 is not heavier than most netbooks despite being larger, but this lightness is not the result of poor construction quality: the X120 is very well screwed together.
Samsung continues to earn points brownie with plastic, smooth matte black inside. Not only does it look and feel good, it is also durable and easy to maintain. That said the screen still has the glossy finish polarizing ever, which is prone to smudges and is fairly representative, but it boasts a spacious resolution 1,366 x 768 native. Being LED backlit is also very thin, is that the machine itself at 25.4 mm thick, although the absence of an optical drive also support this situation. [via trustedreviews]
