Sanyo announced the Air Washer Home Plus purification system air use. The system is the first of its kind in the United States to use the technology water electrolysis process to remove the air of airborne pathogens such as bacteria and germs, to reduce the amount of pollen in the air and allergy-causing dust, and eliminate odors in the house.

Sanyo’s Air Wash Plus also includes the 4-stage true HEPA filtration system that removes 99.97% of airborne particles and allergens, in conjunction with electrolyzed water to neutralize odors and remove particles that cause allergies. A 3-way system of air distribution is also used to maximize airflow. Sanyo Air Laundry Plus will be available soon at a price of $ 249.99. [via itechnews]
