Casio Introduces New Digital Art Frame with a 10.2-inch WXGA LCD screen. The framework uses an “instantaneous conversion of paint” function to make digital photos in creative expression and artistic custom.

The Digital Art Frame supports JPEG, BMP, PNG, RAW image files and video playback Motion JPEG and audio MP3/WAV. The DigiFrame supports WiFi 802.11b / g connectivity and stereo speakers. Adobe Flash Lite is used to view Flash content such as predefined clocks, calendars.

Casio’s Art Frame has 2 GB of internal memory and an SD / SDHC card slot. There is also a USB port. It will be available in spring 2010. [via itechnews]

Casio have created a new projector called the Casio XJ-A series that aims to be “clean and green” as their press release. The projector achieves this by using a laser LED hybrids rather than mercury lamps. The projector is capable of up to 3000 lumens of brightness.

The projector itself it is actually quite impressive. It is compact at 43 mm and weighs only 2.3 kilograms. The depth and width show that it has the footprint of an A4 sheet of paper.
