Finally, we hear news about when Windows 7 Series Phone handsets will be available. From what we’ve heard it seems that LG are to be a leading, if not the first to have a ship which will be released later this year somewhere between September and November. At this point there is no official date and most likely will be tied when Microsoft [MSFT] can get the final build ready and waiting to ship.

The official timeline given by Microsoft is that it will be ready in time for the holidays (ie Christmas), so lets hope they can get their act together and release the operating system a little earlier to meet the hardware from LG.

At this point I guess that LG will market a chassis-1 model of phone, which means it has a large touch screen with a 1 GHz (1.5 GHz may be the launch date) Snapdragon processor. [via gadgetvenue]

In these financially stressful times value is paramount, so we asked some manufacturers to send us budget-friendly PC game. Coming in just under 600 pounds for a machine Core i5, i5 CyberPower Infinity Hercules certainly lives up to the part of the budget (and is indeed also one of the game systems lighter than we’ve reviewed ), so we will see how it holds up in any other respect.

The first reaction to this amount is usually a time of disappointment. Why “only” 3.2 megapixels, while at the same time, competitors are talking about 8 and even hinting at 12 megapixels? The amount from 3 megapixels is totally unimportant to a mobile phone. The quality of the pixels, the image sensor itself, the algorithms and image processor are far more important. The increasing amount of pixels, which is now also in the mobile photography, has already taken place in digital photography in recent years. It is simply a repetition of the marketing strategy for the sole purpose of driving the sales numbers.
