Sega Iron Man 3D Action Game
November 15, 2008 | Component, Computer, Electronics, Games | Comments OffThe film Iron Man is quite good enough. Or if we hear from friends, as we have not yet seen. In typical movie license game, the game does not really much of a plot is more like a peppering of cut-scenes that only gives you a dashboard of an index of what happens. However, the plot understanding of the problems are the least of this third person shooter worries, as it has much more serious problems. Iron Man can not be described as seriously flawed: we are talking about a rustier Ford Capri 1974.

From the first moment, this game fails to thrill, and it fails to thrill in spectacular fashion. The graphics are not the next generation spangly visual about the X360 or PS3. Instead, it seems like it has been ported to the PS2, with bland textures (there are no sliders detail here) and relatively low resolutions. Quite frankly, it looks more than two years, and do things it is quite glitchy as well. We had a number of Nasty Little visual objects of culture.
It does not stop there, either. The enemies are not very animated and simply disappear when shot. Well, obviously they are supposed to be sprayed, but the visual effects are so soft, it appears as if they simply blink of existence. Not only death lack punch, but action sequences, as when our superheroes steel drummers a door with his fist, also feel miserably flat. Where other action games generate a rush, Iron Man manages a net.
The controls are weak and steering is tricky, especially when the post is kicked and point of view changes slightly annoyingly to confuse the reader. Iron Man does not dart around like a ball in this game it gaffes on a flight bin.
What else is there to complain? On how linear levels with artificial walls marking the boundaries, and dull, unchallenging goals of the mission. There is nothing of value here, even the boss battles are yawnsome. The first we met, a huge reservoir hover-thing seems bumbled around at random, that the fire penalty illustrasi half the time.
A word can summarize the experience Iron Man: anemic. Wait a second, we completely forgot to mention the only positive aspect of the game, the theme music. It is class. So consider spending your hard-earned on the movie soundtrack CD instead.
