Sharp announced the BD-MPC41, a Blu ray new home-theater-in-a-(box HTIB) system that integrates the Audyssey technology sound enhancement and support of the iPod. The system 5.1 Channel Home Theater offers a total of 1020-watt power.

Sharp BD-MPC41 supports playback of Blu-ray Disc, DVD and CD and MP3 CDs and CD Image. It provides video output to 1080p and supports 24fps surround sound technologies like Dolby True HD and DTS-HD Master Audio Essential. The system is compatible with BD-Live and comes with FM tuner and iPod dock. It also has an Ethernet port for BD-Live functionality and Netflix movie streaming. [via itechnews]
