Sierra Wireless AirCard 501 and AirCard 502 ExpressCard modems

While the AirCard 501 supports 850, 1900 and 2100 MHz HSPA bandwidth frequency, the AirCard 502 offers support for 900, 1900, and 2100 MHz bandwidth. The 501 was apparently designed for North America while the 502 is supposed to be for European users.

Modems were ideally designed to meet the needs of users in need of quick access to the Internet. In the absence of moving parts, internal modems boast antennas, drivers and an integrated feature of self-installation.

With a download speed of up to 7.2Mbps and upload speeds up to 5.76Mbps, the AirCard 501 and AirCard 502 ExpressCard will allow users to stay connected. Users will be able to use their netBook everywhere, just like their office. In the absence of a hassle at all, users can easily send and retrieve large presentations, e-mails and data-rich information, such as graphics or video.

Although there is no clue on the price yet, the AirCard ExpressCard is expected to reach 501 stores by the end of this month and the AirCard 502 ExpressCard stores expected Q1 2009.
