According to Forrester Research, the survey of North America of 5000 adults, 52% of those who use their own netBook NETBOOK “primarily for entertainment”. People do more serious work on their laptops and desktops.
The study also attempted to address a more interesting question – who is buying all these netBook? It found that 42% are in their thirties and 68% are men, with the average salary of $ 97,000 NETBOOK users.
Of course, none of this information is helpful to manufacturers in May NETBOOK – 70% of netBook sold are sold in Europe anyway. [via netbookboards]
