Sony created the Walkman A new series is a 2.8 “OLED screen with a resolution of 240 × 400 pixels. Also built in is an FM radio, cencelling noise and TV output. The A-Series Walkman is only 7.2mm thin and weighs only 2.2 ounces making it a very sleek looking gadget.

Other features of the Sony A series incorporates the standard codec for support, ie, it will play MP3, MP4, WAV and other things that most others is thrown at him. Also drag and drop is included that transcodes videos fall on it from your computer.

Battery life on the Sony Walkman A series is 29 hours for audio and 9 hours for video. It launches in Japan next month (October 31) and will cost $ 226 for the 16GB model, $ 332 for the 32GB model and $ 443 for the 64GB model. [via gadgetvenue]
