Sony Alpha 290 SLR Digital Camera

The following information has not yet been officially confirmed by Sony. What is remarkable is that the Sony Alpha 290 has got quite a boost in resolution. It speaks of a 14 megapixel sensor, which represents an increase of 40% of the amount of pixels. It is certainly true of marketing, but irrelevant. Looking at the raw image that has surfaced, we can conclude that the camera is a bit thinner.

The handful of reviews was changed a little more simplified version. In addition, the Sony Alpha 290 is not equipped with the feature called Live View, which was probably a decision to reduce costs. It is remarkable that the Sony Alpha 290 does not have a video recording function, which is surprising. Especially for a manufacturer who specialized in camcorders and video techniques for many years, we expect to connect more than other manufacturers that have integrated video capability. And a link is actually the least we expect, Sony is expected to play a pioneering role and leadership in this area. But as Sony has shown before, Sony includes the video in a DSLR if it can match the quality requirements that Sony has in mind. As it appears now, this is not the case.

There are only a few specifications on which we can focus, but as it seems, the Sony Alpha 290 DSLR is the logical successor of the Sony Alpha 230. The standard features have been upgraded, it is a true camera marketing. As soon as we receive more news or the official establishment, we return to publishing full information on the products.
