Sony-Ericsson Phones Mobile World Congress 2010
March 10, 2010 | Cell Phones, Sony Ericsson | 1 CommentManufacturer Sony Ericsson has also been present at the Mobile World Congress. Only the Sony Ericsson stand is truly remarkable. There was little attention to the Sony Ericsson brand, you might walk right by it without noticing. We were able to have the name of Sony Ericsson only twice on the stand.

A presentation quite remarkable, especially because the previous announcements and rumors rather suggested that Sony has been slowly distancing itself from Sony Ericsson. We assume that this is a positive strategy and all that most likely will prove ok Sony Ericsson . The new Sony Ericsson smartphones have to prove, anyway. The product that most captures our attention was the Sony Ericsson Xperia mini X10 and the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro with sliding QWERTY keyboard. Both are mini versions of X10 Xperia, but without making any concessions to speed and ease of use.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Pro Mini has a sliding QWERTY keyboard keyboard works surprisingly well. Small does not necessarily uncomfortable. The XPERIA X10 Mini Pro user interface works smoothly and remarkably fast. The phone the whole works nice and fast due to high-600Mhz processor. Of course, you have to lose some size in the display format, but the 2.5-inch QVGA screen is enough to work.
It is expected that the new Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini and Mini Pro will be available by summer 2010. Hopefully this will be the case, as between the announcement and the actual availability is often a long period, especially in the case of Sony Ericsson. If a sample test is already available, is still in the air. The past has taught us that we better not plan to test for Sony Ericsson, if and when a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Pro Mini review will be published depends on the speed and willingness of Sony-Ericsson.
The Sony Ericsson vivaz Pro camera phone has been officially presented during the MWC 2010. And as the name makes us suspect the vivaz Pro is a management model vivaz, which was introduced last year, with an additional sliding QWERTY keyboard, among others.
The digital camera that comes with the Sony Ericsson vivaz Pro has had to make a significant step backwards. It has 5 megapixels instead of 8 megapixels vivaz that did. Moreover, in terms of resolution, 5 megapixels is excellent (maximum) resolution for mobile photography, we hope they remain. [via letsgodigital]
