Sony Ericssson Xperia X1 SmartPhone
The Sony Ericssson Xperia X1 is the first good attempt at a smartphone since, well, ever. The P800, P900, P910i and P990i all have their points, but the Symbian-powered peculiarities too stuck to the formula of eccentric R380 against serious competition from heavyweights Windows Mobile.
The Xperia X1, on the other hand, is much simpler. It is a sexy-looking slider that runs Windows Mobile 6.1 – but that’s not to say Sony Ericsson has not escaped some characteristics of its own.
Perhaps the most striking of the Xperia X1 is its design it is magnificent. With almost every exposed surface plated or brushed or polished, aluminum, it looks more like the kind of film unlikely that the proposal has muttered geeks “If only” a fully functional smartphone. [ Via mobilecomputermag]
