Sony Handycam DCR-SR88 Standard Definition Camcorders
January 11, 2010 | Digital Camcorder, Sony | 1 CommentWith eight full HD camcorders, Sony is also introducing five new standard definition digital camcorders, including the hard drive-based HDR-SR88 and DCR-SR68 which has a capacity of 120 GB and 80 GB respectively, and the 16GB DCR -SX83, 16GB DCR – SX63 and 4 GB models DCR-SX44 Flash.
All models feature a 60x optical zoom, Face Detection with Smile Shutter technology, integrated video light, touch screen of 2.7 inches. The DCR-top model also includes SX83 “R Exmor” CMOS sensor, Face Touch, Steady Shot image stabilization with Active Mode, iAuto, capacity and 3 megapixel photo.
Sony Handycam DCR-SR88, DCR-SX83, DCR-SR68, DCR-SX63 and SX44 DCR-camcorders will be available in late January and costs about $ 400, $ 400, $ 350, $ 300 and $ 270 respectively. The DCR-SR68 and DCR-SX44 models are available in blue, red and silver. [via itechnews]
