Sony Prototype 360-Degree 3D Display
November 10, 2009 | Display, Sony | 1 CommentSony showed at the Tokyo Digital Content EXP0 2009 a prototype 360-degree 3D display. The camera has 96 × 128 resolution and is capable of displaying 24 bit color.

Sony suggests that the screen can be used for visualizing 3D medical images, virtual pet, 3D digital images and even 3D TV. [via itechnews]
