Sony VAIO W Windows 7 Touchscreen Notebook

A new notebook touch screen has been announced by Sony. The new VAIO W will be published this fall and will be compatible with Windows 7. Using a touch screen, the new Vaio will be able to use the touch features that are integrated into Windows 7.

Other touted features are related to the Playstation partnership should see the VAIO W access to movies and television and possibly games.

“There are some things that will natively on Windows 7 we will certainly enjoy. Without going too far, we believe Windows 7 touch is imperative to find something and we’ll certainly put up some of our key products the launch of Windows 7. You’ll receive Vaio capabilities introduced on products that take advantage of Windows 7″, said Mike Abary Sony executive. [via gadgetvenue]
