The Sync Blocker is a device that lets you choose the option to sync and charge your iPhone, or simply charge your iPhone.
A small switch located on the docking connector Sync Blocker that allows you to easily switch between sync / charge and charge that allows you to simply load your iPhone if needed when you do not need synchronization.
