T-Mobile Free Waze App Turns GPS Navigation Phone

The video explains the service in detail but in summary, maps Wazee are entirely generated by users. Users can also relay a heads up for other accidents and other driving conditions dangerous. There is even a Pac-Man type game with drivers who are exploring uncharted territory. As you map the region, the icon of your car will eat items and accumulate points. Apparently, the application also pays attention to your speed to help determine the traffic conditions and turn off the keyboard to prevent users from typing while driving.
The problem here is that the crowds from services have had limited success in the past, so Wazee is fighting an uphill battle. But since it’s free, it’s not like you have something to lose by giving it a shot. Wazee is available for the iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile, Symbian and other devices. [via gizmodo]
