The King Of Fighters Orochi Saga Collection 1-13 Games
March 31, 2009 | Electronics, Games | Comments OffOver the years, video games have changed, the game console more powerful and are now able to offer the user much more. However, there are players who do not like the direction of these new games and much more old school games and prefer these games are now see a resurgence.

The most popular game of its kind to fight and a handful of the old school of the fight against the games are now back. A game that makes a comeback after almost 18 years since the original version is The King Of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga, and is available on the Sony PS2, PSP and Wii, which is the version we are discussing.
SNK Playmore think it treats its faithful fans of the series with the launch of the Orochi Saga Collection, the collection consists of KOF 94, 95, 96, 97 and 98 on a single disc. Go back 18 years and imagine what your face would have been like knowing that Game 5 has been pressed on a disc.
The games were behind the Neo Geo and was able to play the game how it is in the arcade. For the present system, the Wii, it can run the game easily without even breaking a sweat.
The moment you start the game you see that offers more choice in the controls of the Wii version. First, you have the standard of review, which will allow you to play the game with just the Wii Remote by holding the controller sideways. To punch and kick, you must press the buttons A, B, 1 and 2. To move, you just need to use the directional arrows. This configuration is boring and the Wii is not meant to be boring if I choose another configuration.
The Wii Remote and Nunchuk setup is ideal for the Nintendo Wii. To move, use the Nunchuck, the attack buttons are also on the Nunchuck, and the A and B buttons on the Wii Remote, it is a much better set up and allows you to obtain a greater sense of the game. It is always better to start a quick game and try both configurations before you really dive into The King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga.
Do not expect graphics to blow mind that the game is not about this, it is just good old fight, which is amusing in itself. Games these days are trying it too hard, sometimes you need games like this to let some steam.
I have a 40-inch Samsung 100Hz Full HD TV and I must say that this game was never designed to play on TV, poor graphics certainly show on a larger screen. The games are very pixilated, a result of the games has just been blown and not designed to run on a screen this size.
The Orochi Saga is a reproduction of the original games of all the characters are back with their signature moves. Each game contains improvements over the original games, most of them are so light they are sometimes difficult to detect, unless you are a true fan.
The King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga for the Wii are not great visuals and amazing colors, all about gameplay, and the game is superb. Be warned, for those who have never played these games before, do not expect to be treated as well as Street Fighter, but games are still in their own way. We found that some time in the training has enabled us to adjust our control and practice our maneuvers. Remember to try both configurations to see which control is best for you.
The game includes the collection of sound tracks for all these years, there are still some of these sounds, but some are showing their age. We found that the training mode and challenge mode is great for helping to bring some life to the game, but the game itself is still the fight against the 2D format, so that hard-core old school gamers will appreciate .
The game does lack online multiplayer, which would have been a nice feature for fans of the series. Do not you, we invited a few of our friends to play the game still supports two players.
The game itself takes some time getting used to be so used to our fighting games, the precision of the Orochi Saga is certainly something different. I found that I lost a lot of fighting at first but after a few goes, ok more than a few goes, I found that I was getting used to precisely control not of the character.
Overall, the KOF series for the Wii are faithfully replicated what they were there all these years. As we have said, the game is the main feature, and it does not disappoint. [ via product-reviews ]
