Toshiba has launched a new portable hard drives. New features include better backup features and greater security. This allows both beginners and advanced users to feel comfortable to store data on USB drives.

The backup software works on drives BackupNow EZ NTI is software that allows you to make automated backups of your data and allows data to be restored if you lose or damage it. The software also makes suggestions on what folders and files should be secured. Password protection on the news readers secures data and a disk space alert system also informs you of any problems if the drive is filling up to the limit.

USB hard drives are available in 2 capacities of 320 GB and 500 GB and costs $ 119.99 and $ 149.99 respectively. Each disk is red, green, white and blue. [ via gadgetvenue ]
