Of course, Microsoft believes it has the answer in the form of Windows Mobile 7, then Moore dropped the bomb: “There has been postponed until late next year but it is certainly coming. You’ll see a lot more about Windows Mobile 7. Giving business users and consumers what they want to be part of Windows Mobile 7. You will gain flexibility in a much easier to touch the UI”.

The problem is the new operating system in May and provide “business users and consumers what they want” and provide “the flexibility of a button much easier UI, but we will be well in a fourth-generation iPhone OS by then, sixth-generation RIM OS, an operating system of Web second generation and only God knows where the exponential growth of Android has it taken? There is little point in trying to catch up to a certain point all of your rivals have already passed. [via trustedreviews]
